SEVO

SEVO terms

1. Service and agreement

SEVO is a classifieds and communication platform. The service provider and contracting party is SIA “SEVO”, registration no. 40203789970; contact info@sevo.lv. These terms govern the SEVO service, not the buyer–seller contract. Accounts are available to adults and authorised business representatives. Before registration you can read and save the terms, correct entered details and choose the LV, RUS or ENG interface. Acceptance is recorded with the version and time. Payments are disabled for the public launch and paid services cannot be ordered.

2. SEVO’s role in transactions

The advertiser determines the offer and is responsible for their conduct, title to the item, description, quality and contract performance. SEVO is not the seller, buyer, agent, employer or guarantor in those transactions. SEVO does not receive item purchase funds or provide delivery, escrow or buyer protection insurance. Promotion fees concern a separate SEVO service. Moderation, email verification and promotion labels do not verify seller identity, solvency, item safety or transaction performance. SEVO is the platform name; the contracting party is the actual operator identified in its details. A payment from one user to another is not a payment to the operator. SEVO may assist with reviewing a notice and retaining legally necessary information, but does not thereby assume a seller’s debt or the role of a dispute tribunal.

3. Accounts and security

Provide accurate account details, protect your password and do not disclose access codes. Do not impersonate another person or use another person’s account; report suspected unauthorised access promptly. Choose business status for commercial offers, including registered self-employment. Selecting private status does not remove an actual trader’s legal duties. An account holder is not automatically responsible for every third-party action without their own fault.

4. Listing duration and renewal

A standard listing is public for 28 days from publication or renewal; listings under review begin their period after approval. The end date is shown in the account and listing. On expiry the listing automatically moves into a non-public archive and a service email is queued. Simultaneously expired listings can be combined into one email. Optional new-offer alerts, news and reminders share a limit of one email per 24 hours. This limit does not apply to account verification, the welcome email, requested security codes, listing status, order, payment, contract and invoice documents, or necessary legal correspondence; these service messages are prepared following the relevant event. Account email preferences and the ability to unsubscribe from optional notifications remain available. An available, compliant archived listing can be renewed free for another 28 days. Paid promotion does not automatically renew; renewal earns no additional XP. Moderation restrictions and review remain. Promotion activation ensures that the standard listing stays active for 28 days from activation.

5. One listing — one offer

Each listing covers one specific item, vehicle, property, animal, job, service or clearly described related bundle with one price and set of sale terms. Different independently sold products with separate prices must have separate listings in their appropriate categories. A listing must not be used as an unrelated product catalogue or an advertisement for an entire store. Photos and video must show the actual offer; rooms, accessories, packaging and bundle components are allowed. Paying for additional photos does not remove the one-offer rule or its confirmation; text checks and, when connected, AI photo checks may refer a suspected violation to a moderator. These checks do not identify every violation. SEVO may request separate listings, a corrected category or restrict the listing with reasons; the complaint procedure in these terms remains available.

6. Listing content

Post a genuine, current offer in the correct category. State the true price, currency, material defects, condition and transaction terms; do not use a misleading starting price or someone else’s item photos as your own. You must have rights to offer the item or service and use all text, photos and video. Mark or remove sold or unavailable offers. Demonstration content must be labelled as a sample. Check automatic titles and AI suggestions before submitting.

7. Business offers and special categories

Traders must disclose legally required identity, registration, address and contact information, final prices and applicable consumer contract, guarantee and withdrawal information. SEVO does not promise purchase protection on a trader’s behalf. Job, animal, food, property and licensed-service offers must comply with applicable information, registration, permit and non-discrimination requirements. Transactions between two private individuals generally fall outside consumer protection rules, but civil obligations remain. SEVO may request information proportionately necessary for a specific risk concerning authority, the right to offer or permits, and suspend the relevant offer pending assessment. The purpose and restriction grounds are explained; sensitive documents must not be published in a listing. Traders are responsible for taxes, licences, invoices and performance unless the law imposes a separate obligation on SEVO. For a commercial offer, select a company or self-employed trader and provide the public business or full name, registered or contact address, telephone and contact email. Legal entities provide their registration number; self-employed traders must not publish a personal ID. Include legally required licence or professional qualification information in the description. These are seller-supplied details, not a SEVO verification guarantee.

8. Prohibited content and conduct

Fraud, stolen and counterfeit goods, unlawful services, illegal weapons, explosives and drugs, child sexual abuse material, pornography, incitement to hatred, threats, unlawful disclosure of personal data, phishing, malware and spam are prohibited. SEVO does not accept alcohol, tobacco and nicotine products, medicines, weapons or financial service offers requiring a separately agreed permit review. The 18+ category permits lawful adult product offers with product photos after adult self-confirmation and moderator review; nude photos and sexual service offers are prohibited. A category’s existence does not authorise trading a regulated item. Duplicates, fictitious offers, XP manipulation, bulk contact harvesting and disruption of the system are prohibited.

9. Photos, video and review

The first 10 photos per listing are free. A one-time EUR 1.99 payment removes the photo count limit for that listing; an original photo may be up to 20 MB. Large still photos are automatically resized before upload, preserving their proportions; the photo sent to and stored on the server is no larger than 5 MB. Animated images have a 5 MB limit so they are not flattened into still photos. Each listing may include one video up to 60 seconds and 20 MB. The system may convert formats and create previews. Proportionate technical limits may be imposed for resource abuse or security risks, with an explanation. Ordinary listings publish automatically subject to system safety checks; adult and suspicious offers await a moderator decision. Review does not guarantee every item or claim is genuine.

10. Additional photos for one listing

A one-time final EUR 1.99 fee, including applicable taxes, allows an unlimited photo count for one specific listing. There is no subscription or automatic repeat charge. It does not include listing promotion. The entitlement remains when editing and freely renewing that same listing; it cannot be transferred to another listing or used as an unrelated-offer catalogue. If payment is made for a prepared draft, it is bound once to the listing created from that draft. Payment does not extend the listing period or replace content review. The 20 MB source-photo limit, automatic processing to 5 MB, 5 MB animation limit, one-video conditions and proportionate safety or resource-abuse limits remain. The user receives an order confirmation after the server confirms payment. Checkout is available only after operator and payment activation. A consumer may withdraw within 14 days of contract conclusion, including any statutory extensions, using the support withdrawal form or the operator’s active email; no reason is required. For a timely withdrawal from this photo entitlement, SEVO refunds the full EUR 1.99 within 14 days after receiving the notice using the original payment method unless another cost-free method is expressly agreed. No promotion-time proration applies to this service, and activation alone does not end the withdrawal right. A refund revokes the entitlement; submitting a legal request does not itself automatically delete the listing, draft or uploaded photos. If activation is unavailable or the same listing entitlement is paid for twice, the unfulfilled or duplicate payment is fully refunded. Remedies for a non-conforming service remain; businesses retain contractual and statutory remedies.

11. Content rights and AI

You retain your content rights and grant SEVO non-exclusive permission to store, technically process and display content on the platform and through its sharing functions while necessary for the service. After deletion, copies may remain temporarily in backups or for legal duties and disputes; this does not authorise continued public advertising. Permission does not transfer ownership or permit unlimited external marketing use. AI is an optional assistant when connected: suggestions may be wrong and are not a professional valuation. Data transfers are explained in the privacy information.

12. Search and promotion

The regular list is ordered by category, filters, selected sorting and publication time. Bold highlighting improves visibility without changing ranking. Pinned listings appear in a separate block above the first results page: up to six at once, with fair rotation for additional offers. Super spotlight is an advertising strip with three visible spots and up to 60 active ads in the selected category or subsection, with up to 20 allocated to each desktop window. Phones display two windows from the shared rotation at a time. Ads change every 5 seconds with fair rotation; users can pause it, and rotation may stop while the window is hidden or a user interacts with a card. Mobile users can scroll the spots horizontally. This is a shared place, not an exclusive continuously visible spot. The purchased section is shown before checkout and may differ from the category overview. Paid blocks are labelled. No particular view, click, enquiry or sales count is guaranteed. SEVO does not prohibit offers on other platforms.

13. Place advertising in “Where shall we go?”

The places directory has a separate advertising strip above the map. A verified account holder can purchase advertising for their published place after SEVO has approved their management rights. The introductory offer price is EUR 2.99 for 24 hours or EUR 9.99 for 168 hours (7 days), with no subscription or automatic renewal. The current final price is shown before confirming an order. This service does not include classified-listing bold highlighting. Four advertising windows are visible on desktop and two windows of the shared rotation on mobile; there are up to 80 active advertisements and up to 20 per desktop window. Ads rotate every 5 seconds; rotation can be paused and may stop outside the visible page area or during interaction. Ads follow visitor place filters. This is not an exclusive or uninterrupted position, and views, clicks or bookings are not guaranteed. Checkout becomes available after operator and billing activation. Capacity is reserved for 45 minutes; the service period begins after server-confirmed payment. A late payment that cannot activate because capacity is full, the place is unavailable or another campaign for that place is already active is refunded in full. Only one campaign per place can be active at a time. The other terms on confirmation, service performance and applicable withdrawal rights also apply to this service.

14. Free and paid services

Standard listings and renewals are free, with no SEVO commission on user transactions. The first 10 photos are free; unlimited photos for one specific listing cost a final one-time EUR 1.99 fee. Final promotion prices: bold EUR 0.99 for 28 days; pin EUR 1.99 for 168 hours (7 days); introductory super spotlight in shared advertising rotation EUR 2.99 for 24 hours or EUR 9.99 for 168 hours (7 days). The current final price is shown before confirming an order. Pin and spotlight packages include 28-day bold highlighting at no extra charge. Payments become available after operator and billing activation. Before a binding order, the final tax-inclusive price, duration, section, availability and rotation conditions are displayed. The service period starts after server-verified payment and promotion activation, not after a browser returns from checkout. A place in super rotation capacity is reserved for 45 minutes to complete checkout. No payment is accepted when capacity is full; a late payment that cannot activate the service must be refunded in full. Confirmation preserves the order number, price, start, end, terms version and terms text. No subscription or automatic renewal. Voluntary removal, a sold item or few views do not by themselves mean that service already supplied was non-conforming; mandatory consumer rights remain. A safety review does not automatically forfeit all payment. Unsupplied service and proportionate refunds are assessed according to actual performance and law.

15. Consumer withdrawal and refunds

Consumers have a 14-day withdrawal right from conclusion of a paid SEVO service contract, subject to statutory exceptions. Use the “Withdraw from contract” function in the footer or send an unambiguous statement to the operator’s active email. Provide your name, order and an email for acknowledgement; no reason is required. Sample: “I withdraw from the SEVO service [name], order [number], ordered on [date], name [name], email [address], statement date [date].” The promotion-time calculation below applies only to services with a fixed promotion period; withdrawal from the one-time photo entitlement is described separately. To start promotion immediately, separately and expressly request early performance before purchase and acknowledge that your withdrawal right will end once the service has been fully performed. Starting the service or paying alone does not end that right. Following a valid early-performance request, SEVO may retain a proportionate amount for the service actually provided only if all required information was given before contracting: final order price × time actually supplied / duration of the longest ordered service component, capped at the final price and excluding periods when the service was not supplied. When a package includes 28-day bold highlighting, the calculation period is 28 days even if advertising rotation lasts 24 hours or 7 days. The deduction must not exceed the proportionate value of the service components actually supplied; incomplete performance is reviewed separately. Further performance stops upon receipt of withdrawal. The refundable balance is returned within 14 days of receipt using the original payment method unless another cost-free method is expressly agreed. Only after every ordered service component has been fully performed, including the included 28-day bold period, does the exception apply only if every statutory condition is met and SEVO can prove the required request and acknowledgement. If the required request or information is missing, no partial-performance fee is retained; statutory extensions of the withdrawal period also apply. Expiry of withdrawal rights does not limit remedies for a non-conforming service. Businesses purchasing for their business activity do not receive the consumer withdrawal right; contractual and statutory remedies remain. Withdrawal from the SEVO service does not cancel a separate buyer–seller transaction. Payments are currently inactive; these conditions may only be used together with the corresponding checkout and refund process.

16. SEVO XP

First approval of an eligible original listing earns 2 XP. Redeem 10 XP for 28-day bold highlighting once per calendar month in Latvian time; XP does not pay for pinning or super advertising. Activation renews the standard listing for 28 days. XP is not money, cannot be transferred and cannot be purchased. Duplicates, renewals or repeated publication, reused photos and multiple accounts created for rewards do not earn points. Rewards tied to a non-compliant listing may be revoked with reasons and the decision can be appealed. Changes must not arbitrarily remove acquired rights.

17. Safe communication

Before paying a seller, check the item, documents and seller’s authority. Do not disclose card security codes, PINs or bank access, or follow “receive money” links. SEVO chat, WhatsApp and external links are not transaction guarantees. If fraud is suspected, preserve evidence, contact your bank and police immediately and inform SEVO. Call 112 for immediate danger; SEVO is not an emergency service.

18. Notices of violations

The support form is available without an account. Choose a content notice, identify the exact listing URL or ID, describe the specific violation, grounds and evidence, provide your name and email and confirm good faith, accuracy and completeness. Name and email are optional for notices of child sexual abuse; do not attach or forward illegal images. A receipt with identifier and time can be saved. Notices are reviewed diligently, promptly and objectively; the decision and available redress information are delivered through the supplied contact channel. Reporter identity is not published or disclosed to the advertiser without lawful grounds.

19. Moderation and reasons

SEVO may reject, restrict or remove content and proportionately restrict accounts for specific terms breaches, illegality, security risks or competent authority orders. Protective measures may be immediate in urgent cases. Ordinary listings may publish automatically after system checks. Suspicious offers and adult content await human review; automatic checks do not guarantee accuracy. A human reviews challenged restrictions. Affected users receive relevant facts, legal or contractual grounds, scope and duration, the role of automation and redress options insofar as disclosure is legally permitted. SEVO acts in accordance with law after sufficiently specific notice of illegal content; a general liability disclaimer does not replace action. Repeated or serious breaches may justify account restrictions where removing the specific content is insufficient. Restricting manifestly unfounded notices or complaints requires assessing abuse, volume and consequences, prior warning and a proportionate period. A good-faith complaint that is not ultimately substantiated is not a breach. Where necessary duties have been met, voluntary content review does not itself create a guarantee or automatically assume responsibility for all user content.

20. Complaints and appeals

You may appeal decisions about your content or account free of charge through support or the active email for at least six months after notification. Identify the decision or listing, arguments and requested remedy. A human reviews material facts and provides a reasoned response. Written consumer complaints are answered within 15 working days; an objective delay requires timely notice of reasons and a reasonable additional deadline. Internal review does not prevent access to courts, PTAC, applicable alternative dispute resolution or a certified DSA dispute settlement body where applicable. Data protection matters may be brought to Latvia’s Data State Inspectorate. If a consumer dispute about SEVO services cannot be resolved with the operator, you may contact PTAC or the Consumer Dispute Resolution Commission within its competence. Contacts and procedure: https://www.ptac.gov.lv/lv/par-stridu-risinasanu . Data protection: https://www.dvi.gov.lv . Your right to go to court remains.

21. Limits of responsibility

SEVO does not assume a seller’s obligations merely because their listing is hosted. Third-party fraud alone does not automatically require SEVO to reimburse the item price. SEVO’s liability depends on actual conduct, applicable law and Digital Services Act conditions; the hosting exemption for illegal content is conditional. These terms do not exclude SEVO’s liability for its own breaches, intent or gross negligence, harm to life or health, personal data breaches or other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. They do not remove consumer refund, service conformity or judicial protection rights. There is no general consumer obligation to cover all SEVO claims or costs. Claims are assessed by the applicable liability basis, specific breach, harm and causation; statutory burdens of proof and presumptions apply. Both parties take reasonable steps to prevent loss, such as the affected user contacting their bank after a suspicious payment. This does not automatically release SEVO from its own breach or permit rejecting a claim merely because one measure was omitted. The same loss cannot be compensated twice except where applicable law provides otherwise.

22. Data, termination and changes

Data processing is explained separately; accepting terms is not consent to marketing or analytics. Users may stop using the service and request account closure; records needed for accounting or disputes are retained only as necessary. Retention criteria, data recipients and international-transfer information are set out in the privacy information. Material terms changes are notified in a durable form at least 15 days ahead, longer when adaptation is required; legal obligations and urgent security threats permit lawful exceptions. Where Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 applies, termination of the entire service for a business user is reasoned and notified at least 30 days ahead, except as provided by that regulation. Changes do not retrospectively alter the price of an existing purchase. Latvian law applies subject to mandatory consumer protection and jurisdiction in other countries. No language version reduces mandatory rights; identified translation discrepancies are explained and corrected. Business users can access their own listings, account information and conversations in which they participate; available view statistics depend on analytics consent. Other users’ private data is not provided. SEVO staff and contracted processors use data for the service, security and accounting under the privacy information, rather than as a saleable customer contact list. You may request a copy of your data before account closure; account tools become unavailable after closure, while applicable data request and legal remedy rights remain. If a provision is invalid, the remainder survives insofar as this does not upset the parties’ legal balance; mandatory law applies regardless of the wording. Ordinary users receive specific reasons and reasonable notice for material future changes. Changing an existing paid contract cannot be justified merely by posting new text: contractual and digital-service modification rules, required consent and termination rights apply. Silence alone is not consent to a new payment.

23. Third-party claims and authorities

If a third party alleges infringement of copyright, personal data or other rights, SEVO may request explanations and rights evidence from the advertiser and proportionately restrict the relevant content during review. Ordinary quality or payment disputes are resolved by the parties, competent authority or court; they do not automatically make every disputed offer unlawful. Where there are grounds to suspect a criminal offence threatening life or safety, SEVO supplies legally required information to competent authorities. Other disclosures to authorities or third parties require a lawful basis and are limited to what is necessary; this clause is not consent to unrestricted disclosure.

24. Availability and exceptional circumstances

SEVO takes reasonable technical and organisational measures for availability and security, but does not promise entirely uninterrupted operation. Significant planned interruptions are announced where possible. An external failure or cyberattack does not itself excuse liability: it must be assessed whether the event was beyond reasonable control and whether due care could have prevented its effects. In force majeure, effects are mitigated, users informed and performance resumed as soon as possible. If paid promotion was materially not provided because of a SEVO outage, an appropriate lawful remedy is supplied: agreed restoration of missing time, a price reduction or refund. Paid promotion is not treated as fully performed during periods when it was unavailable.

25. Separate business liability conditions

This clause applies only to users purchasing SEVO for their business or professional activity. For a paid-service contractual breach caused by SEVO’s ordinary negligence, total contractual damages are capped at the greater of EUR 100 or that business’s SEVO paid-service fees over the preceding 12 months. This does not reduce refunds for services not supplied and does not apply to intent, gross negligence, harm to life or health, personal data breaches, non-contractual or other mandatory statutory claims. It does not apply where unlawful or unenforceable in the particular relationship. A business whose culpable rights infringement directly causes loss to SEVO is responsible for proven loss within legal limits. SEVO promptly notifies the business of third-party claims and provides a reasonable opportunity to explain; settlement payments without its consent do not automatically become its debt. SEVO’s own share of fault is not shifted to the user. This cap and these business conditions do not apply to consumers.

26. Places directory and reservation requests

The places directory publishes public facts from the open sources identified in each profile and information submitted by a venue representative. Source licences, links and import dates are shown; the derived OpenStreetMap dataset is available for download under ODbL. Inclusion or a managed profile does not imply a SEVO recommendation, quality guarantee or partnership. Confirm opening hours, access, prices and service availability with the venue before visiting. A category illustration is not a photograph of that venue. Venue representatives confirm their publishing and representation rights; claiming an imported profile requires a separate review. Reservation requests are available only on managed profiles whose representative enables the feature. Sending a request does not confirm a reservation: confirmation by the representative is required, and the parties agree on price, payment and cancellation terms directly. SEVO does not collect payment for venue services or guarantee their performance. This clause does not restrict mandatory consumer rights or SEVO’s liability for its own platform service.

27. Specialist services and responsibility

SEVO.lv provides the technical environment for job requests, offers and communication. SEVO is not the specialist’s contractor, client, employer or guarantor and is not a party to the service contract between the client and specialist. The relevant service provider is responsible for the scope, performance, quality, safety, timing, materials, required permissions, warranties and remedies for defective work under the parties’ agreement and applicable law. SEVO does not assume the specialist’s contractual obligations or guarantee their work. Before work starts, the parties should agree in writing on scope, final price or its calculation, materials, travel costs, deadlines and warranties; payment is arranged directly between them. Profiles, work photos, email verification, reviews or selection on the platform are not SEVO guarantees of identity, qualifications or work quality. The customer closes the job on the platform by independently confirming completion. The specialist can report completion, but their confirmation does not block the customer’s action or review. A completion marker reflects the customer’s statement; it is not an independent quality inspection, acceptance of work quality or waiver of legal claims. After the customer confirms completion, the customer and selected specialist can each submit one review immediately. Following content review, reviews become public when both are submitted or 14 days after the customer’s completion confirmation; the other party’s silence does not stop this period. Report suspected violations or reviews to SEVO support with the job or review identifier. This clause does not exclude SEVO’s responsibility for its own platform service or restrict mandatory legal rights of consumers or other persons.

28. Electronic invoices for SEVO services

Once payments are activated, choose the invoice recipient, check billing details and separately agree to electronic PDF invoices before paying. Businesses and self-employed recipients must supply their full name, registration number and address. Billing details are not public seller contacts. After the payment provider confirms payment, the system assigns a unique invoice number and retains the price, parties, service and payment confirmation reference. The invoice is downloadable from account payment history by the recipient and authorised administrators. An unpaid order, opening checkout or returning from it does not create a paid invoice. If confirmed funds cannot activate the service, the document clearly records an advance for an unactivated service; a confirmed full refund generates a credit note while retaining the original. Partial refunds and incorrect details require separate review; contact info@sevo.lv. Later profile changes do not overwrite an issued document. A PDF is not a structured XML e-invoice or a VID tax filing; contact SEVO before ordering if a structured e-invoice is mandatory. Payments and new invoice issuance remain off until payment integration and the legally required archive in Latvia or another EU member state are confirmed operational. This addition does not alter evidence of earlier terms acceptance or concluded purchases.

29. Service delivery and payment

Paid SEVO services are delivered digitally: listing promotion, place advertising or additional-photo access is activated in the relevant SEVO account for the specific offer. There is no physical delivery; delivery costs EUR 0. An internet connection, current browser and access to your SEVO account are required. Once payments are enabled, only actually available payment methods are shown before ordering. Payment is a one-time advance payment of the stated final tax-inclusive amount, without an additional SEVO payment fee. The contract is concluded when the SEVO server receives and verifies the payment partner’s confirmation; starting checkout or returning in a browser is not confirmation. Activation normally follows automatically immediately, with a maximum activation time of 24 hours after the SEVO server receives confirmation. A promotion period starts only upon actual activation. If activation is impossible, the unfulfilled order is reviewed and payment is refunded in full; contact support with your order number about a delay or fault. Refunds are made without undue delay; the terms’ 14-day refund period applies to consumer withdrawal. SEVO does not deliver goods advertised by users. Physical product return or exchange does not apply to SEVO services; cancellation, non-conforming services and refunds follow the relevant terms and mandatory consumer rights. Order confirmation identifies the service, specific offer, final price, payment and activation status, period, operator contacts and the accepted terms text; the confirmation and invoice can be saved. Payments remain disabled until the connection, compliant checkout and support readiness have been verified.
